Rooftops, bagels, subways, Central Parc, les 3 M (MET, MOMA, muffin), PACE, Murray Hill, Flatiron, Shake Shack, Megu, Highline, coloc, Riff Raff’s… ‘a pu ! A bientôt à Seattle !

Frappuccino, a New Yorker’s best friend when it’s...

Frappuccino, a New Yorker’s best friend when it’s 100°F outside.

A Marc Jacobs dress at Second Time Around, “Resale goes...

A Marc Jacobs dress at Second Time Around, “Resale goes upscale”, on Park Avenue (obviously since the dress is sold for $799) & 73rd st. The MET is my favorite museum in New York and this exhibition is mind-blowing. The rooms are covered with videos by Baz Luhrmann (the Australian director who directed “Moulin Rouge” with Nicole Kidman). Those pretty funny vids are the “impossible conversations” between Muccia Prada and Elsa Schiaparelli (played by actress Judy Davis). Of course you are not supposed to take photos inside the exhibition…. but you know me :) The little detail that caught my eye was that the black and white photos of Schiap’s work have been transformed into videos/gif animations/ whatever that make the models blink from time to time. A small effect that made sense in this collection of works by somewhat provocative designers who kept thinking outside the box. The exhibition is open though August 19, so go go go!

PS1 (MOMA), 4601 21st (entrance on Jackson Avenue), Long...

Wendy installation

Washing machines

In the stairs

Open room called "Meeting"

PS1 (MOMA), 4601 21st (entrance on Jackson Avenue), Long Island City, NYC
